I had a simelar problem. It’s a connection under the main board. Take of the
top and locate the connection under the global button. Try to push it a
little.. then mine worked fine again :)

I have a 2002 Korg CX3. When I turn it on, it goes to the very first
setting: A-1 Organized. That sound will play, but none of the buttons
or drawbars or anything respond. Everything is frozen. I can't even
reset to factory settings because the Global button won't respond.

Any advice?
