I have to chime in here with Mark, I've been using the first pair purchased directly from Tony, the old 3105 pro's. This is back when you would find his ad in the Keyboard rags. Now I have a pair of Sona 32 c's. For me that 15" brings out the tone I prefer for piano & strings (Kurz), horns (Roland), organ (XK-3).
I believe that Tony played keyboards and designed the first pair for his personal use. So you get a system designed for Keyboards. Not for a PA system. (IMHO)

I've had two pair of Barbettas in the past 15 years and I don't think I
would ever use anything else. Barbettas are second to none when it comes to
reproducing the entire audio range that electronic keyboards seem to occupy
with excellent audiophile quality. They are loud. Don't let anyone tell
you otherwise. Like any vocal monitor, placement of these little monsters
onstage is extremely critical to get the Barbetta to project to your ears.
Running two in stereo is absolutely the most enjoyable audio experience I
have ever had. JBLs & Mackies do a decent job, but they just cannot
reproduce the accuracy that a Barbetta can.
