Subject:VR-760 and splits - clarification needed

VR-760 rookie here.

Even though there are 3 sound engines in the VR-760 (organ, piano synth), when I'm in SPLIT mode........ I can only get 2 sounds.......one on either end of the split point.

Is this the case with the VR-760......or am I missing something?

If this is true, then this is a serious drawback for me. )-:
