Subject:Re: New Korg BX-3

I own a VK-8M and an Electro. The overdrive in those clones are much
warmer and realistic than the Korg, in my opinion. The numerous times
that I've tried the Korg in music stores, the distortion always
sounded very digital to me. Perhaps going through a good amp/preamp
that will warm up its sound, it might sound okay. But I really don't
like the basic sound of the overdrive and always assumed that if I
ever bought a Korg (which I never dig), I would have to rely on
external gear (amp, preamp, leslie, pedal) to get a good overdriven
sound. Perhaps owners of the Korg can give some suggestions.
