There's a fair number of freeware samples out there on the net. Also, Sweetwater has
lowered the price of their Kurzweil sample cds to $100us, not a bad deal.

Finally, you should check out Chicken Systems Translator. They have a free version for
download; it does a great job of converting samples from one format to another.
