I read that the old CX-3 came on a very unlucky moment: 1979. This
was the beginning of the synth era and demand for organ sounds would
only decline in the years to come. Nevertheless, this clone was the
best one of its kind and even outperformed all the later clones from
Hammond itself! The CX-3 has its own personality but is nevertheless
able to reproduce an organic Hammond sound. For those that stick to
analog gear, the CX-3 is a great compromise.
