If you are talking about the digital CX-3 (as opposed to the '80s CX-3), and it has the newer OS (there is a drawbar animation on the screen during startup), a parameter called Noise was added -- to mimic the way a vintage Hammond/Leslie always had some background noise from the amp to deal with! (I always thought that this was a BAD thing about vintage organs!) It has a range from 0-99, but any setting besides "0" will be audible.
If this is the problem, you must turn the Noise setting to zero in each patch. :-|
