Subject:XK3 key attack

I think I missed something in the discussion regarding how the keys fire on the XK3. This is not one of the better things they left out of the XK3 but I understand why.
The XK3 synth action is hard for me to deal with. Oddly enough, the action on my es 7 is light years better than the XK3, especially with the organimation patches.
I tried the Midi out/ Midi in/ local off trick and don't see any difference.
Someone mentioned that there was another adjustment to the action/attack and after scanning the manual I did find an adjustment but it looks like it pertains to percussion not regular key attack.
Can someone point me in the right direction in the manual?
