Another excellent post Bruce!!

>(to remove the muddyness), or boosting the upper midrange
>(2-3KHz). A Leslie's horn does this naturally.

I have been trying out my newly aquired Hartke KM 200. It just KILLS on the
Alesis, Korg, and Yamaha....but...the Nord sounds muddy. It that Leslie
sim that seems to be the culprit. That and the steenking low output. I use
an ART stereo preamp and run that between the Nord and my mixer.

I have been screwing around with it all evening and have decided to go
back to the Nord->Speakeasy->Pro-3T/LowPro (with the Nord's bass
cranked all the
way OFF), and just use the amp for the synths.

I would like to hear what a CX-3 or XK-3 sounds like out of the amp sometime.

best,

Dan
