Actually, no. In most cases, 120GB drives are 5400 or 7200RPM, with a moderate (2-8MB) buffer. The newer, larger drives are 10,000RPM, with a 16MB buffer -- often for almost the same price.

If you're going to plunk down $2,000 or so for a Receptor and a few VST instruments, it seems like spending another $50-100 on future expansion just makes sense.
