Hi,

If you don't need tone controls or a second effects/aux send, for the cost you can't beat the Behringer RX1602. 8 stereo channels with pan; a monitor/effects send; and a headphone out; all in 1U space with no AC adapter for $100US + change. It doesn't have as much headroom as comparable products costing 3x as much, but if you keep the volume of each channel to around 0dB, it works well. I have one in my personal rack, mixing (2) Alesis QSRs, an Access Virus C, an ART Dual MP preamp, a Korg BX-3, and a MAM vocoder. I haven't had any problems in almost two years.
