Subject:Anyone ever portable-ize a Leslie-- Cut cabinet in two?

Wondering if anyone has ever cut a leslie cabinet in two to make it
more portable? It's a full size 22H cabinet, and I was thinking of
cutting it in half, top and bottom, no other modifications (except
fasteners), so it could be re-assembled leaving the original interior
airspace intact as normal (no dividers seperating the two sections). I
can't afford any new-fangled portable leslie thingy, and I got an
empty leslie cabinet that no one local will give me more than $150
for, so.....? Any experiences? I can get a professional to cut it for
free-- no hack job...
