Subject:Re: EMU Classic Keys
Another great module (one I feel better than Classic Keys) is EMUs VINTAGE PRO. 5 or 6 knobs on the front, one rack space, and the EPs are great, and a lot of the synth stuff is pretty happening.
Last I heard, new (no longer available) they were less than $400.

Norm,
First off the Classic Keys is a cheaper version of Vintage Keys. I have a Proteus 2000 that has a lot of the same acoustic and electric piano patches and I really like the EP patches. My opinion is they are better than the most of the ones on the Yamaha Motif.
These modules can be had for cheap on E-Bay.

Does anyone here use this module or the EMU Vintage Keys? If so any opinions? Mellotrons sound pretty good? Anything else? No need to comment on organ patches!!!!!!!!! Thanks, Norm
