Subject:Re: Muse Receptor-Doefper
Norm,
Yes the Doepfer has a hinged top...it's kinda like built into it's own flight case. It's not heavy duty enough to be a true flight case but is sure beats a soft case that most of us use on our keyboards.
The Doepfer has so far been outstanding. Very robust midi controller and it has killer hammer action.
Bad part is the only dealer in the USA is http://analoguehaven.com so a demo is out of the question. I did get Analogue Haven to agree to take the unit back, minus shipping cost, if I did not like the feel. The contact their is Shawn and he was very helpful and nice to deal with.
Sure has made life at a gig a lot easier. One push button to set many device's patches.

If you don't already own all of the compatible VST for the Muse it can add up to a fairly large $$ amount. Sounds like quite a set up you are using! Very nice. Those Doepfer's seem like they are built like tanks. It has a hinged top as well? Where did you guys demo these? Guitar Center?
Norm
