Subject:Re: CX-3 into a Leslie??? Possible??
Go into your parameters, and turn the leslie sim completely off. I
also went into the amp settings section, and changed the amp type
to "preamp". Some like this, some don't: I do. You will probably
want to have Speakeasy install what they call a "Barker", which
increases initial gain from your CX into the front end of the
Speakeasy preamp. The CX-3 has notoriously low gain in preamp mode,
and the Speakeasy barker circuit compensates for this nicely. I
initially ordered my Speakeasy without it, and I sent it back the
next day to have one installed!
Connection will be 1/4 into Speakeasy. Speakeasy out to leslie
depends in what you are going in to. Mine is 11 pin out, as I am
using the Leslie 2101. By the way, you won't be able to control the
Leslie from your keyboard - the control will be foot operated from
the Speakeasy.
Hopes this helps.
