Subject:Re: CX-3 into a Leslie??? Possible??
Let me throw in a note of caution. I used to own a Trek II and could NEVER
get enough punch out of it. I got the Speakeasy preamp and that solced all
of my problems. so, beware of the Trek II pre unless you plan on buying
another piece to boost the signal OR go with the Speakeasy which is worlds
better IMHO. They sell them in Rack mount or floor models so you can use
the foot switch to change speeds. I've used them all and for my taste the
Speak easy beat them all. they can also add something called the
Growler???? that makes the Leslie/organ scream like crazy. These guys are
very good at what they do and will also custom make anything you want.
Call Steven Hayes and tell him Chuck Hasley in Dallas referred you.
Speakeasy Vintage Music I believe. No, I am not an owner or share holder.
I just believe in saving steps. Don't mess with the Trek II unless you want
to do the above.
