Hi,

I do something similar, although it's more like 60-70% in my case. I always try to set my stage volume for rhythm/comping level. That gives me room to turn up for a solo, then back down afterwards. Yeah, I could depend on the board man to turn me up and down, but we don't use a board man all that often.
