Subject:Re: Doepfer D3M owners, make yourself known!

I own a D3M. I've only had it about two months but so far I like it a lot. Very lite weight. A cool feature is the end caps of the casing are below the tops/sides of the the upper and lower most keys, makes for a different feel on some smears.
I think the feel is a little bit lighter than an XK-3. So far the keybed has been very reliable and can take aggressive playing. Cheap too at about $550. I think this would make a great second manual or a main manual for a B4 with a drawbar controller setup. The D3C organ "module" is not released yet. I would guess that when it is it will not be a big seller. The bolting of the two D3M keyboards and a D3C controller seems a bit wierd to me.

I'm tempted to get one to combine with an Electro rack.

But who has actually got one? I tried searching the archives and just
came up with a few ancient posts.

What's the situation today? How is it?
