Cool. I just bought the B4ii upgrade for $20! If you purchased B4 between 9/7 and 11/7 of this year, only $20 to upgrade!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even though the Receptor isn't ready for it yet, for that price I jumped on it. Looking forward to playing it.

the 'Tube Response Techonolgy' was a real killer to me.
The whole sound is much warmer/richer, the distortion sounds very refined.
For me this is the most enhancing feature.
Compare the preset called 'The Worm' of both B4 versions! It really
screams!

The preset management is simplyfied, which I like a lot.
I don't tried the different amp types except the simulations of opened and
closed L147/L122
which sound really great to me, regarding the posibilities of version I.

I wasn't able to find where to select the different tonewheel-sets
(probably my fault).
Altough the user interface looks 'a bit nicer' now, I liked the advantage
to see ALL availible
knobs/parameters on one screen, which isn't possible on the updated
version due to the
increased number of adjustable parameters.

Maybe its worthy of remark that the update version (which I bought)
doesn't really act like an
'update'. It doesn't seem to touch the B3I files.
It's even possible to run the old B4 version after after installation of
the update.

Finally I can say that the update is really worthy to buy and it for my
issues it enhances
the 'smile-on-my-face-while-playing' factor at least by 100%.
