Monitors.
I use a Peavey Impulse 1. It sits right on my keyboard or on a case
next to me. It also has a threaded socket on the bottom to screw it to
a mike stand but who wants to carry an extra mike stand HA!. Since it
is a plastic cabinet I put anti-skid material on the bottom and it sits
rock solid. It has two 4" speakers and a small tweeter. also has a
volume control on the back. It's 16 ohms so you can chain a few
together and it's indestructable. Plug it right off your main cabinet,
it can handle the power. It's not a full range sound but you can hear
enough of the lows from your main rig and it will just give you the
clarity and quick feedback you need.
Small and easy to pack in the cable and accessory case. Cost about $100
new.
