I'm all about doing that. I'm usually playing with either a Nord
Electro or a Yamaha p90 on top of the XK-3. Its a good way to get the
keybeds close to each other, and eliminates the 2-tier stand. XK-3
controls are somewhat obscured, but that hasn't been a problem.
There's something to be said for having the weighted keyboard
underneath, it being easier then to put more weight into it. But one
can get used to having it the other way. The P90 is not a small
keyboard, but its narrow enough not to fall off the back of the XK.
