Yeah but to me the more beat up the woold would get
the more charactor it would have. The coolest band I
ever saw was a a reggae band from KC MO, that had the
most beat up C3/leslie and it was really ominous.
YMMV.

As for your question on the WK3XXX's, I don't think
they can compare, they're in a different league, but
the organ is stronger in the lower registers, such as
the 16, 8, and 4 drawbars, and they do offer both
piano, organ (with limited Drawbar), and synth sounds,
something only the Nord Stage can do (not counting
boards w/o drawbars). Danged good bang for the buck
at 400 bucks. The piano sounds are good as are some
of the ep's. Especially the Wurly sound, again for
the dough. The rotory sim is pretty static but ramps
up/down nicely. There is some built in overdrive but
I think external would prove better, like some kind of
tube preamping. Even though that means you don't get
it before the rotory effect, and that can sound weird
to those folks that are more picky about their sound.
But at that price point I'm impressed, I think the
only thing that could outdo would be if one got lucky
enough to find a used hammond xb2/xk2, or Roland VK7,
and I doubt one would find one for the money. Another
possible contender would be a used Oberheim OB3
squared but those are hard to find as well.

I think though in closing having some sort of drawbar
control on the Casio makes it a really nicer
experience to play than with a synth doing organs. I
was able to also have a split with like an 8+4 setting
for the lower and then something else higher. You
have to experiment though with it to get that working,
as you need to store your own organ sound set to +1
octave (actually that will allow you to use 16' as
well. Then pick your top organ sound then pick that
sound in split mode.

Once you have it done though it's easy to just store
that as a setup.
