Subject:1147 Leslie Kit Question

Just acquired a Leslie 1147 kit to use with my XK-3 and 145 Leslie.
After I hooked it up and powered on my XK-3 the Leslie is staying on
the fast speed and I am unable to switch to the slow speed using the XK-
3's fast/slow switch. Unhooked the 1147 and did a test with my
Speakeasy preamp and it changes Leslie speeds ok. Anybody out there
know why I can't change speeds using the 1147? Am I doing something
wrong?
