Another thing re: the 2101 from a recent experience. The 50 watt driver
does not cut it in a rock band using live cabs on stage. I blew mine out
and HS replaced it with a new FF 100 w driver. BIG difference. Whether or
not HS is now rethinking putting the heavier drivers or not is strictly an
opinion but I think they were quick to replace mine as it was still under
warranty and they have had problems with the FF drivers in the regular 122's
as well per my organ dealer. Also, the replacement they sent me was blown.
So it went back as well and they offered to replace the new blown driver.
I give them a pile of credit for being so nice about replacing stuff. Same
with the screws in my XK3 that came out and disappeared.
They sent me a little package of new screws and they are now in place with
lock-tight.
If I could just talk them out of one of those new portables as an
endorsement that would be nice. No one hold their breath.....
