People keep saying this for a reason. If you read this forum,
and digest what people are saying about these various clones, the
vast majority of positive comments about leslie sims are about the
Korg sim. Even with the new Hammond XK3 that seems to be thought of
as the latest and greatest (again an opinion based on comments in
this forum) a common recent theme in this forum is that XK3 users
are not abslutely thrilled by the leslie sim and you often see
comments suggesting that it's not as good as the CX3 sim (which
further illustrates the point that the CX3 leslie sim seems to have
become a standard that others are measured against).

This is not to say that different people don't have different
opinions on this subject, but as an avid reader of this forum (and
other related forums) I think that the Korg seems to have gained
the "popular" vote on leslie sims..

No one is saying that the CX3 leslie seem IS THE BEST, because this
is very subjective, but it certainly seems to be the most popular
leslie sim, and I think it's established itself as a standard
against which others are measured.

Again my opinion, but you asked why people keep saying this!
