I think it is kind of a rule of thumb with the VK7 to use the C2 setting to
get the C3 sound. The biggest thing I don't like about the VK7 is the
keyboard. I don't care at all that it doesn't have waterfall keys, but the
keys are weighted (why?) and the action is too stiff. I love the keyboard
on my Electro 73, and I'd love to try the VK8 keyboard.
