Yeah, I checked all the connections and made sure the chips were all seated
well in the boards, and that's all I can do. I've gotten pretty good at
fixing my old Vox and Farfisa organs when a divider goes bad or a capacitor
needs replacing, but this thing has symptoms that make no sense when looked
at from the good old 'solid state' point of view.

The store I got it from new is an authorized Roland service place, and they
are good. They fixed it for free every time so far.but now it is so far out
of warranty, I'm sure it will be pretty expensive, and from past
experience, it may need to go back a few times until they isolate the
problem. Last time Roland pretty much sent the entire insides of a new VK7
that they installed in mine. That fixed it for a couple of years, but here
we go again...
