The problem you describe is not related to power supply problems. I am
absolutely sure of that. It is more likely that you have a failing IC somewhere in
the VK7, especially if this thing happens without you moving the VK7 around.
You're going to have to take it to a tech to get it fixed. It's going to
have to be a good tech, because these types of problems are not easy to
troubleshoot.
