Check the Yamaha Motif ES keyboards or the S90ES. Also, try the Phantom X
from Roland. The new korgs look interesting as well, the TR61. You can also
get a Kurzweil k2661 pretty cheap, unless you need 88 keys. Alternatively,
if you have a Korg Triton, you can go to www.ksounds.com and check their
piano samples out, they are excellent. They make some great samples for the
Yamaha Motif es series as well, so even if the motif's pianos don't cut it
for you, check into the ksounds pianos.

Subject: [CWSG] Re: Nord Stage review please
Hi, thank you all for your suggestions...
I am wondering now if the nord stage is as great as my expectation about
this expensive instrument is.... My main problem is im getting into studio
on december, but the producers told me that may xv 88 piano sounds are not
good enough ( to tell yo the truth, they told me my xv 88 sucked! i even
felt offended at first) so now im trying to get a solution for the pianos
and the rhodes sounds... which keyboard is the best option overall for these
kind of sounds?
everybody tells me that the nord is the best in the rhodes/wurly
department... but how about the pianos?
In the acoustic piano department someone told me tha nothing equals a
Kurzweil... is it true??? do i need to hunger for the rest of my life so i
can get my hands into a nord stage or a kurzweil 2600?
please tell me, which is the best choice for my needs, and then some
alternative (and cheaper ) options.
thank you for your comments
it is very hard for me to buy new gear without having even played them,
because as i told yo before, here in Mexico its very difficult to find a
decent keyboard on display.
You are helping me a lot, as always.
