IMO-the best pianos are the yamahas. I think they dropped the ball on the
es model pianos even though the fine folks at Yamaha say they are the best
ever. If you want a strong piano sound get your hands on a classis Motif 8.
they don't get any better. I've used eveyone of them and the Yamahas win
hands down. Still a subjective opinion.
I have played the Tritons and most musicians will tell you they just don't
cut it. The new oasys has some great piano sounds in it as well as the CX3
engine but at 8499.00 it's a hefty price to pay.
Kursweil has lot favor with a lot of musicians becasue of availabil;ity
issues, quality and especially the keyboards. their sounds are marginal at
best.
