Subject:Re: XK3 and CX3
Yeah, I was going to comment on XK3 vs. CX3 decision, but it's all subjective. But you are 100% correct that you cannot make any assumption about the XK3 based on an Xb2 or XK2. They're as dissimilar to an XK3 as the analog CX3 was to the new CX3.

There is no comparison between an XB2 and an XK3. None.
If you have never owned or even messed with an XK3 at least do that before
deciding.
This entire comparison between the clones is so subjective it's funny.
EX: I thought the action on the XK3 left a bit to be desirded then realized
from a post that the attack on the XK3 can be adjusted internally which
gives you the impression of different speeds of attack and release.
The editing capabilities in the XK3 blow the Korgs out of the water. Unless
you are going to buy an Oasys in which case the editing parameters in the
interenal CX3 change greatly.
I had a BX3 and got rid of it because it was simply not up to par with a B3.
I hated the v/c among othere things.
AGAIN-this is highly suibjective but try them all out before deciding and
really spend time with each piece before buying.
