The driver in my 2121 started fuzzing out on me. I don't know if it's the same driver as in my 2101 or not. My 2101 has performed flawlessly since new.
So I pulled the driver out of the cab to see what was going on and found the screws loose. I tightened them and the buzzing quit.... for about 45 minutes. After doing this two or three times I lost interest in pulling the damned thing apart and started looking for a permanent solution. The screws appeared to hold on the throat adapter and I was told that the diaphragm could not be serviced. I bought the closest driver that I could without having to deal with HS -- A Peavey RX-22. It works fine - I don't hear any improvement or loss of sound quality. My cabinet was bought used and abused and so there was no warranty.

Well, so much for elation over the new 100 W FF driver in my 2101.
Yesterday, I noticed a fuzzy sound coming from the driver. I've checked all parts etc and it's not a rattle vibration as if something were loose. It's coming directly from the driver. It's almost as if the new driver were blown or something of that nature. ??????
I'm now wondering if there is something that allows the driver to sound but it may actually be blown or have a loose connection?
Back to the Hammon dealer? I guess it either is or isn't blown. One or the other.
Anyone else have this issue with a driver or the 2101 in particular?
