Dear Elliot,

I prefer the sound of the XK-3 by a large margin for my main application.
My main application is organ music (such as jazz trio or solo) in which the
organ frequently carries the melody and the bass. I say this even though I may
have to get my XK-3 serviced.

For rock or funk gigs in which the organ takes solos but usually supports a
vocalist who is carrying the melody, the other clones work well. Indeed, I
continue to use the Nord for those kind of gigs since it is so lightweight. I
found the CX-3 also good for supporting roles in rock music.

But for very exposed settings in which the organ is featured for most of the
night, I prefer to go in with the XK-3.

Everyone has their own taste, so I could see going a number of ways.
