Elliot,
Welcome to the group. Hope you enjoy all the posts and helpful info.
I joined this group about six months ago when I bought my XK-3.
I have had zero problems with mine and love it. It gets played almost daily and moved about twice a week between gigs and practice with no problems.
Good luck on whatever you buy.

Hi all,
I'm a new member to this group. I use a Hammond XK-2, soon to be
replaced with a Korg CX-3, with a Motion Sound KBR 3-D. I use a Yamaha
EX-5 for the non-organ stuff, soon to be replaced with a Kurzweil PCL.
I used to use a Leslie 122, but found that the KBR 3-D works just
fine for a dance band, but the MS is a lot easier to move and place. I
have a MS Pro 145, but haven't used it on stage yet. I use it for
rehearsal. If I use the 145 for stage, I'd use it with my MS KP 200S. A
great stereo keyboard amp...
I have a B-3 at home but don't really want to move it much. My van
has a hydraulic tailgate, but at the destination, I'm still alone, not
fun !!!!! So I use the easy stuff............
My comment would be, I've been wanting to buy a Hammond XK-3. Are
the problems I have been reading here real? Are they fairly consistent
with the board? If so I'll stick with the CX-3. No problems so far with
this board.......
This is just an introduction to you all from me.
thanks,
till the next time,
