>Yes, the 2101 has 1/4 inputs. And I have already used a 122 with both of my 2101s, and it sounds killer. What is important however, is that if using a real leslie with the 2101s is to make sure you're using the same switch to trigger all the speed controls; otherwise you'll have some strangeness occurring with delayed triggering times.
Hey, that's what's known as "special custom effects". I got that now using two switches, Someimes have one on chorale and one on fast and/or delay change of one. Even differing rpm's can be ok sometimes.
I guess one thing i am wondering about is whether there's any of the mellowness (like assosciate with woodiness[?}), a difference compared to what some of the motion sound units might sound like?
Even Leslies can sound different from each other I guess.
>I use a stereo Speakeasy not only because of the killer tone, but one side is set up for 11pin and the other for 6pin (a necessity for my 122).
That sounds like a good way to go! I send L and R outs from the Mackie 1402 through the respective sides of my Stereo Speakeasy. It seems to help everything whether horns, organ, guitar patches, EP's and acoustic piano. Just putting in tube warmth I guess.
Do you have both in's and outs in the 6 pin one side and 11 pin other? How is the 122 involved here?
Do you personally use the 1/4" ? or is your xk 3 sent through the 11 pin alone?
One more 2101 quwtion: is killer only loud, boisterous, room filling, etc. or will it also do well tonally to squiggle away for some syrupy ballad.
Hey, thought I'd ask!
Thanks Tony,
Harold

The list was $99. The price on the sticker was $89. I talked him down to
$70.

Good for you!
Seems ridiculous that that chunk of wire costs 10% what a whole 2101 does!
Does the 2101 have a 1/4" jack input?
Would these (2101's) work out for useage to pair with a conventional 122 or similar Leslie to get that multiple Leslie interaction?
Thinking of getting one to use that way with lows going through other keyboard amps.
The high price of cables and kits to interface with more sources is a bear.
