Subject:Distance between the two "keyboards" on a B3?


Hi all,
I would like to put you a simple question about the distance between the two
"keyboards" on a B3 (or dual manuals B3 clones).

By now, I use a CX-3 with a Fatar sl-161 under it (you can see a picture on
my web site at http://www.manuelbeleza.tk) and a pk5 pedalboard.

I play jazz with my own trio - organ, tenor sax and drums - and I play lh
bass lines. When I'm soloing and comping with the rh, it seems to me the
distance between my two keyboards is good, but... maybe a little more. I
already owned a L100 in the 70´s, but in the time I played rock, so I don't
remember anymore.

As I intend to build a cabinet to put inside my 2d manual to give us a
better global look, I would like to put you the following question:

- Which is the distance between the two manuals on a B3 (or BX-3, VK77,
etc.)? Is it a standard measure?. What you think about this issue?
