Subject:All about the PK-5

Walter,
I've used a PK-5 with a VK-77 for over 5 years. The PK may be small ... but mighty! You're using your feet. You need something sturdy. The PK has a lot of metal and it functions well as a MIDI controller. You'll probably have your right foot on an expression pedal, so you can really only access an octave anyway.
I've seen others that are minimally cheaper (Fatar, etc), but for $400, the PK is pretty good deal. Plus, they're both Roland products, so they work well together.

I'm wanting a pedal board to play the bass parts like a real organ.
I was shocked to see the prices of the PK-25 and PK-7.
The 7 costs as much as the VK-8 itself, and the 25 is double that.

The PK-5 is around $400, and that's bad enough.
Does anyone know if the PK-5 will work satisfactorally with the VK-
8??
Does anyone have any suggestions as to another pedal board that
might work well and cost less?
I don't really need a bunch of fancy controlers, just something to
play the bass parts on.
TIA
Walter Wood
