Talk about hauling a bunch of separate amps around, when I've seen
John Medeski with MMW, he has a separate vintage amp for each of the
vintage boards. (Wurli, clavinet, mtron, etc. as well as a 122 for
his A100. Not a rack or mixer to be seen, just a pile of smallish
tweed tube amps. Every darn thing is wood. Good thing he has a road
crew!
