Robert,
With all do respect to the attached post.. that's not how I hear, or
play Green Eyed Lady... I play the entire tune on the upper manual
(of either my BX3 or real B3)..
888000000 Percussion set on/normal/Fast/3rd No C/V... This is the
setting for the all the percussive parts... I then add C3 Chorus for
the first and second verses... (keeping the drawbars and percussion
set the same)... during the third and fourth verse I change the
drawbars to 888000330 and spin the leslie up... The way I hear it..
the percussion is on solid through the entire song... it's very
apparent through the verses as well, when the chords hit
percussively but quickly decay..
During the solo I return to 888000000 with the same percussion
settings and C3 chorus... I have an MP3 of me playing the tune,
using these exact settings if you'd like, contact me off-line and I
can send it to you, I think you'll find it's pretty close to the
original.
