OK, I have to defend Dream Theater a bit here, since they are one of my
favorite bands. I think a lot more thought goes into their songs than you
think. Take a listen to a song like Pull me Under, which is the song that
put them on the map. Honestly, some of their classics are songs like Take
the Time, Learning to Live, Metropolis part 1, Under a Glass Moon, hell, the
entire Images and Words CD for that matter. They are not just wankers,
although their later material is more out there than earlier material. But,
I am not going to convince anybody here. But I am not going to let one of my
favorite bands get trashed without some form of defense.
