If the sample patch already has a Leslie effect on it then running it through a Leslie can
produce undesired results because you are adding effects on top of effects. The good
thing about running a unit like a CX-3, Electro, XK-3, or V5 through a Leslie is that they
have a setting for a clean sound - they let you turn off the Leslie effect.

I've tried it and didn't like it. But it might work depending on the sample as long as the
leslie effect wasn't too strong on the sample.
