Subject:Motion Sound Pro3T and Low Pro Feedback ? / XK2 comments

A friend of mine who is desperate for money ( The same one I bought an XK2
and flight case for 250 dollars) now wants to sell me this Motion Sound
combination for 500 dollars or possibly even less.

I seem to recall some less than positive feedback about this combination,
but it also seems attractive to me because of stage space considerations.

Before I go out and demo it I would appreciate any feedback from people who
have lived with these.

By the way I also wound up liking the Hammond XK2 more than I expected. It
seems it would make a great controller or practice instrument at the price I
got it for. I don't hear the "harmonic beating" on the typical lower manual
808000000 setting but on 888000000 it really kicks in ..... a sort of "ya ya ya"
or "wa wa wa wa" effect on a chord with no vibrato. Damn - I can imagine
how frustrating this must have been to those of you paid good money for these.

In a setting where 2 manuals are needed I think it may do a good job. I like
that you can remove the foldback from the low end tones and this thing has
great waterfall keys and a nice feel. I am kind of thinking of running it
with a module....V5+ , VK8m or a B4. I am still not sold on the XK3.

But if you have any comment on the motion sound stuff let me know.
