This thread confirms my suspiscion and gives me an idea of how to
correct the rotation. Is "flipping the motor fields" an easy and
obvious fix or is it more involved than just taking the motor apart
and flipping "things" around?
I dunno if anyone answere so:
Just disassemble motor and reassemble with center of the outer housing upside down of original.
Never hurts to cleanup a bit, lubricate, etc.
On units with a spring loaded idler the idler should be repositioned to press on the "new" slack side of the belt.
I've done 2.
Let us know if you notice a change (if you try it reversed some).
