This needs a bit investigation on the object orientation of Logic.
Within the arrangement window or environment window you can see the
Track Objects. Those point to Channels and here comes the trick.
Insert on Track Inst 1 the software organ, e.g. the evb3. Select
Track Inst 2. In the parameter window on the left you see, that the
Channel is set Instrument 2. But there's nothing that prevents you to
set it to Instrument1. Now, the evb3 appears on both tracks. You can
set a seperate M1D1-channel for every track to enable seperate
manuals for the evb3.

Yes, this is necessary to switch on DSP processing.
