I'm beginning to think this is some kind of Speakeasy
sponsored web site. I'm sure the Speakeasy or any
other quality pre-amp will work well with all other
input sources including voice.
I have a Hampton[e] preamp for my Leslie 122. I love
it. It does not compete with the Speakeasy in range of
use. I can only use it with 122 and 147 type leslies,
but this is a clone website. I have a CX3 v.1. The 122
really smooths out the top octave.
I generally recommend a tube preamp over any solid
state one, such as the Trek II type. I think that is
an obvious statement.
