In DAW the other thing you might want to consider is the ADA converters. Your
recordings are only as good as those. All sound cards are not created equal.
The recording software just manipulates those ones and zeroes. preamps make a
diff too. the ones in the Mbox are made byfocusrite. not bad for the price.
firewire is the new thing now while scsi is on the way out. it all depends on
how good you want your recordings to be or if its just a hobby.
