if you can take the cx/gig bag on board and stow it in the overhead bins
would be your best bet, if not then get a cardboard box and box your cx with the
gig bag, then you'd have more protection other than an anvil style hard case if
its just a one time thing. perhaps put those nylon straps on the cardboard
box to give the handler something to grab on to.
