What I can't figure out about all the newer controllers is: Why did
controllers stop providing a couple of banks of PRESETS anymore?
What's the use of having all this info at your fingertips if you
can't save it to a patch and recall the exact same sound and settings
with a click of a preset button? Some people do use controllers in
live performance, not just with their computer. So what's the deal? I
can play more piano, organ, synth, pad, etc sounds instantly with my
Y2K controllers presets than with one of these new "Hey lookie! It's
got everything!" so-called controllers. duh? Walter j
