Subject:Re: Questions for nord electro owners ( Roland sim crap? )

Ryan,

On the electro - probably not. It expects a pulse to switch between
speeds (toggle) although the polarity is programmable. One other
feature high on the wish list for Nord firmware updates is the
ability to change the behavior of the pedal input so that the leslie
will go fast as long as the pedal is depressed, then revert to slow
(or stop, hopefully also!) when it is released. This (maintained)
style of pedal programming would allow a halfmoon switch (which is
maintained) to function in the traditional way. If a half moon switch
was wired to the electro pedal input (in the absense of a an
electronic relay module or something) the speed would switch from one
speed to the next every 2nd time the switch was shifted. Thus it
would be out of phase half the time ;-)

I do not know about the VK's.

By the way, Thomas Adamson has a demo file in the clonewheel files
section in the VK-VR folder. He may have already told you about this
offline?

Best,
Greg
