So, well then. Iīm one of the minimum-technic-purists. I have an v2
Cx-3, an old Korg X5D for synth-sounds, which i hardly ever use (but i I
need the rhodes-sounds) and then I have a Korg SP100 Piano with
semi-weighed keys. Well, what can I say? I wanted a light, fast action,
which I got. But I ended up in wanting a really "Piano-like" action. Iīm
playing a acustic piano regulary at my girlfriends home, and I really
miss it on stage. Itīs really strange. I did not want that "heavy" feel
cause I was afraid of getting pain in the fingers with rockīn roll
tracks. But its the opposite! Because of the lightweight keys you press
it down to the buttom when you play louder and faster tracks. Therefore
you (or well, at last me) get pain in your fingers on a semi-weighed
action. So my choice would be to invest in a fast, but full-weighed
hammer-action. After a few weeks it will be better than it could ever be
with semi-weighed... But I guess thats a really personal decision. But
you should really try some 88 Hammeraction. Great feeling and after a
few weeks you donīt want to miss it... Your fingers will get stronger
and then itīll hurt no more.... :-)
By the way: Anyone here who wants to buy this SP100? Really in good
shape! Oh well, Iīīm from germany, so ... no shipping overseas :-)
so, thatīs just my personal view ...
